Gaganyaan is India’s first indigenous human spaceflight mission being developed by ISRO to demonstrate the capability of sending humans to Low Earth Orbit and bringing them back safely. The mission will use the Human-rated LVM3 (HLVM3) launch vehicle to place a crew module of about 5.3 tonnes into an orbit of approximately 400 km for a mission duration of up to 3 days.
