These massive constrictors hunt primarily mammalian and avian prey, often at night, using their eyes and heat sensing pits to locate their targets. These snakes will often hunt around and even on the road which means they can put themselves in danger of being hit by cars fairly frequently. We moved a good handful of these beautiful pythons off the road this night
