Explore the untamed beauty of Matusadona National Park in Zimbabwe, where a rugged mountain wilderness meets the shores of Lake Kariba. 🏞️ Declared a national park in 1975, it was once a sought-after tourism destination and stronghold for iconic species like lion, elephant and black rhino. Pressure from human settlements and agriculture, as well as over-utilisation of resources, however, created challenges for the park, causing these critical populations to decrease.
